He’s not right. Hes full of ****. He takes bits and pieces of truthiness and fabricates enough stuff that eventually he will be kinda right sometimes and then people forget all the stuff he got completely wrong. He has zero first hand sources. I can’t believe people still fall for his account
I doubt anyone type of non-journalist on social media has any first hand sources. I would guess - if he’s legit - his “sources” are 3 - 6 levels removed from anyone remotely in the know. And that’s OK! And it might even be a “useful idiot” type situation where he’s getting fed information (however many layers from upstream) simply to help further a certain type of narrative or whatever. Again - all fascinating and well-worth a Twitter follow.

All the rumors today are total ********.
Not if the PAC2 has the goods on ESPN's and/or Fox's roles on destroying the PAC and relegating the PAC2 (which is being suggested is the case).

If it is true that ESPN doesn't want to be taken to court over their role with PAC destruction and instead is forced to fund PAC2 addition to the B12, then the B12 should leverage that to the fullest and get increased payouts for existing schools in the process of doing so. If ESPN resists, then tell them the PAC2 will see you in court and potentially engage Amazon and/or Apple as well in funding additional B12 inventory (including PAC2, FSU and Clemson).

ESPN does not want to be in court over PAC destruction. Fox as well.

His sources are his Twitter feed and the voices in his head.

Way up there
May be thinking after the ACC blows up that the PAC2 can hook up with the 4-6 leftovers there and create a tweener conference between P2 and big 12 and G5.
The acc currently has 17 teams and it hasn't been hit by reassignment yet. They will get picked over but the acc won't disappear like the PAC. There are at the most, 8 schools who have options to jump to the other 3 power conferences.

They'll easily have enough left over to scrap something together. It won't be a great league but with the PAC/acc leftovers and a few aac or mwc teams, it would be the front runner to get the 4th playoff spot every year.

Unless you're betting on the outcomes, it's still fun to read about these 'heresays' and 'theories'. I say keep them coming, but continue to put them in context.
Oh I like reading/seeing all the theories etc. But like you say you have to take them with a grain of salt. They are theories and some people that claim to have inside knowledge really dont.

The biggest issue with people like Mhver are they pretend they are in the know and claim they have insider knowledge, when they dont. I would give him more credit if he would just admit he is promoting theories rather than actual inside knowledge.

The only issue I have on here is people sometimes post these people as if they are actual facts, which they are not. If people would understand that they are just some random dudes theories it would not be an issue.

MHVer is a microcosm of the problem/danger of social media. Granted, their topics are not of great importance relative to other “reporting” happening on Twitter.

But this is an individual who, I believe, has no sources, and, at best, his/her “sources” are other anonymous user names on message boards/social media. Prior to social media, this person’s reach would be limited so the “reporting” would have minimal impact. He/she has been able to manipulate Twitter though to the tune of 32K followers and probably significantly more viewers. So his/her “reporting” has been amplified to a ridiculous level.

And MHver uses social media tactics to avoid accountability. It’s not their real name, it’s not their livelihood so there’s no risk, they tweet so often and delete tweets that it’s hard to keep receipts on the myriad of reports that are wrong. They hedge their tweets so they can always claim deniability, etc.

So instead of his BS either being ignored or as BS, it’s considered legitimate.
