Never liked Roy, but I refuse to dislike him because the staff's at Iowa and ISU were not good enough of recruiters to land all those in-state kids. Thats on Tom Davis, Tim Floyd, etc...

Yeah. I think it had less to do with Roy Williams as a coach, and more to do with blue blood programs.

Who was the last Iowa kid to turn down an offer from a blue blood program.

Adam Woodbury turned down UNC to go to Iowa. Iowa State and UNC are both happy with that decesion.

The gal that I swear read thru her entire mailbox while parked in front of the neighborhood boxes so my wife and I couldn't get to them...Tarheel sticker and a "Carolina Girl" sticker that looked like it came out of a vending machine in a grocery store entryway on her car. I kept telling my wife to ram the car and push it out of the way...she wouldn't

I actually don't mind them. Paige is probably my favorite non-ISU player to watch and I don't like Duke. That being said, I'll hate them tomorrow

My two least favorite shades of blue: NC's and KU's.

I've never understood this, or the Hinrich/Collison claims. I don't recall people being upset at Tinsley for leaving the Bronx for Ames, among other out of state players that were the only reason ISU was decent.

KU's a better basketball program. Always has been, always will be. It was a better situation for them.

I amazingly liked Roy's teams at KU, but tend not to like Self's KU teams, and haven't minded Roy's UNC teams' players, but for some reason find myself disliking Roy since he's been at UNC. None of that makes sense.

I can see a season or two like from '99-01, but longevity is going to win out there. Blue bloods stay that way for a reason.
