Saw some press about Jalen Jones last weekend, and wondered if we would make contact/ be interested since he's an Iowa guy. That answers it!

Midnight Madness would be so fun. I hate that we have NOTHING until the exhibition game. Even Iowa has a public practice. A lot of great players on the list. Getting 1 of those guys would be awesome.

Thomas probably is visiting to get acquainted with Okoro & Niang. He has to be 99% Cyclone right now with all these visits. Georges will have him committed before the kickoff.

It's really freaking stupid that we don't have a midnight madness. It's really a shame on Fred, it's just another excuse to get recruits to come to campus. I guarantee there would be at least 10,000 people there. It doesn't even have to be at midnight, just do an event at Hilton that kicks off the basketball season. Heck, include the women's team as well.

Maybe not the first one but if it's advertised the right way and it gains momentum over the years, we'd have good crowds for it. All the big time basketball programs sellout their midnight madness events.
