Still have a couple of recruits and potential recruits playing in their high school season; Nkereuwem Okoro will play in state playoffs next week along with Sherron Dorsey-Walker and 2013 PG Monte Morris. Tonight 2013 SG Matt Thomas plays in the Div. 2 championship in Wisconsin, I will provide updates on that game when possible (between watching Iowa State & other duties tonight)...

2013 SG Matt Thomas has all 10 of Onalaska's points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3pt) in first quarter, lead 10-8 over Kaukauna.

Thomas is heating up. 12 points now. His mid-range jumper is jordan-esque. I see why Fred likes him.

No, I'm not saying he's as good as Jordan- I'm speaking specifically about how he pulls up, really elevates, hangs while he squares, and releases high.

Thomas drains a crossover 3 with 2 seconds left in the half. Kaukauna knew it was going to be taken by Thomas and he dribbled free and drained it. Yikes he has 21.

Onalaska is cruising to a state championship up 44-22 at the end of 3. Matt Thomas has 26 points, 10 rebounds & 2 assists.

Based on both radio interviews today (1460 and 1700), it sounds like the staff will be hitting the recruiting trail tomorrow already. Hopefully, somebody gets a tip on who and where, and we'll get an idea of where the staff's priorities will lie this recruiting season.

I have a strong feeling that one of them will be headed to Michigan to catch the next round of state playoffs and watch Flint Beecher (Monte Morris) tomorrow night. AAU season is already starting up as well on the East Coast, with several Midwest teams not too far behind so I'm sure those will be on the stop list too...
