Re: Robert Upshaw:
pretty amazing that his "mystery visit" has been kept quiet this long. It's not like 7' 18 yr old can really blend in to the crowd - especially in this day of social networks. If the right someone spots you, you're cover is blown to the whole world.
Net Gain Sports:
twitter tells me that Phil Nolan is playing w/ Net Gain Sports - the AAU club of Rashad Vaughn and Andre Wallace. They are playing up in St. Cloud at the Comet Shootout this weekend. I will let SvrWx post the stats update - I'm sure he's working on a nice summary.
The case for Matt Thomas:
Matt recently mentioned in an interview that he wants to go to a school where he can play early - he doesn't want to sit for a year or two and then maybe play. I took a look at the rosters (backcourts) of the perceived favorites earlier this week. It looks good for us, however we all know that rosters can change A LOT in a year, so as with most any recruiting information, take this with a grain of salt.

Finally, Cornell Mann has previously put out on twitter that he'll be in Vegas this weekend (assumed for an AAU event, but I haven't yet figured out the name of the tourney).
