Don't think that would be a good comparison.
What I meant is I don't think Doc was just fetching Diet Coke while he was at KU, I'm sure he was involved in the game planning and X's and O's

Chalmers was the Director of Basketball Operations, which means that his job was to make sure the hotels on road trips had the right video equipment, the right food for meals and that Self had a supply of Diet Cokes in his room. Not quite "D1 Coach".
Exactly. Nice of his buddy Self to give him a handout while he was unemployed.
Please STFU in this thread unless you have basketball recruiting news. Turning every thread 2co posts into a ******* match has run its course.

Agree. I apologize for any part I may have had in running the thread off the rails. What does Chalmers/Manning have to do with 2015 and 2016 recruiting? Nothing.
Welcome to the lull in the recruiting cycle, where there is nothing new to report. Our moment off the rails did lead to some good discussion over whether or not some ISU fans are OK with hiring a family member/former AAU coach if it meant that it would bring an elite recruit into the program (and isn't this topic about recruits?) but some people cannot handle a grown up conversation that grows and shifts and evolves and felt the need to throw a hissy fit. It was nice while it lasted but the whiners have voiced their disapproval so I suppose we'll need to get back in our simpleton box and stick directly to the exact topic.Which is the main reason this guy is ruining this board. He comments on almost every post on here, which spurs many CF posters to reply to him.

So my logical posts are the problem and not the ignorant responses to them? That's brilliant. the inmates are officially running the asylum. There are some people that are mature enough to be able to have a conversation and post logical responses to my logical posts, regardless of what team I happen to cheer for in my spare time. I encourage those that cannot do so to utilize the Ignore function so that they never see my posts and their thread pollution does not take over the thread and we can continue to discuss the topic.Whatever. It's just bizarre to me that you've been registered since January and have over 2,500 posts. Anyway, I get that posts don't stay on topic, especially during the off season. The problem is that you're not an ISU fan, so what you say, will usually illicit even more responses, EVEN when you post something that is perfectly logical. When you combine that with the fact that your posting pace likely exceeds 99% of the posters on this board, and for every post that you write that others disagree with will cause 3-4 ISU fans to post responses..... you can see how every thread turns into a twocoach thread.

CW says that is good for the site - more activity during the summer.
Maybe with his switching high school classes he'll run into the same problem that Ray Kasongo had in meeting the entry requirements to Oregon and be back on the market.Back to recruiting news, Brooks visited Oregon yesterday. There has not been an official commit as of yet. Many are reporting it is likely to happen. Huge bummer because I think if he would have stayed in 2015, he would be coming to ISU.

Please put me on your Ignore list and don't clutter the thread with posts about me, then. Stick to the topic and the thread stays clean...Am I the only one that thinks it's really weak to keep a troll around to drive up traffic? This clown does nothing but ruin every recruiting thread.. idgaf if he ruins the off topic threads but i get tired of skimming through the ******** of the last two pages of nonsense to find one minor nugget on recruiting
So is Clark the only other sg we are looking at in this class then?
