I heard from someone inside that works a lot with staff that he is hearing staff is a lot less confident in vaughn than they were a month ago. "Waivering" was the word used. These things go back and forth of course but they see the michigan game visit as crucial in reestablishing our position, fwiw. Not really different than the overall sentiment here but seems to add some validation.

not what I have heard, especially after his performance in the exhibition game. What was it, 19 pts, 10 boards?

??? Not sure what you mean. I wasn't saying they were waivering on him but that they sensed "Vaugn was waivering". Given he isn't committed I took "waivering" to mean they haven't been getting as strong of vibes from him lately. Really not much news there, just a snap shot in the back and forth of the recruitng world. I hesitated posting because am sure the same could be said about any recruit we have landed at some point in the process.

Yeah, makes me wonder what they are telling him down in Vegas and what Kaffey is doing to influence the decision. Come on Vaughn, Dixie State!

Vaughn played in our exhibition game? Dammit, I knew I should have tried harder to watch that!

Look how much fun he could have in this NBA-lite system, I'm liking where we're standing.

@GoodmanESPN: NC State goes down at home to NC Central, 82-72. Knew it was gonna be a rough year for Mark Gottfried & Co., but did not expect this.

Ready to rethink your decision, Abdul Malik Abu?!

Hopefully we'll catch one of their players on the transfer. Maybe Malik or Kyle Washington

Fred seems to be good at locating elite talent early. It just sucks ISU doesn't have the star power to hold on to most of them when they blow up. Hopefully that changes with Vaughn coming here and getting drafted in the lottery.

Honestly, I think bigger programs might see the talent early as well but they don't have to offer as early and can wait longer to see if the potential materializes.
