I didn't think Norvelle was interested in us but that's cool. Maybe we can pull a Michigan and be the jerks that sweep him up. Him, Long, and Kostas would probably round out a top 10 recruiting class.
I feel like regardless of our intent (I agree with you) that if one commits we have almost no chance with the other.
I don't agree they wouldn't take both because I think Long can play 1-3 for the kind of offense ISU runs.
Right, the staff is looking for a replacement CG for Noskowiak and missing out on Strong. With 3 scholarships open Prohm would happily take both but I seriously doubt if one commits the other would too due to lack of playing time. ISU is deep at guard next year with MM, MT, HC, DJ, and NB, it difficult to expect 2 guards wanting to walk into limited minutes or possible RS request when they have multiple P5 options.
Perhaps the reason, ISU still has offered Norvell due to the recruitment of Long. The staff could be waiting to see if he commits on his official visit, making him the priority. If JL decides to wait, Norvell offer will be extended and visit set up. First one to accept gets the role.
Maybe I have missed something on here but I have seen a few tweets about an Adrio Bailey from Louisiana that might be officially visiting. He is a 6-8 power forward. Sounds like he has good interest and seems like sort of a sleeper who is super athletic (watched a few highlights). does anyone know anything about his recruitment?
I was just about to comment on that, does it feel like we are really going after leftys? Donovan Jackson is as well correct?
Sounds like a late bloomer with tons of potential. Consider me intrigued.
