I am neither a Prohm hater nor a Hoiberg hater but that one had me shaking my head. Prohm lands the guy and people still find reason to ***** and fault Prohm. Unbelievable.

The depth reaches the anti prohm folks will take to rip on the coach are amazing, but unsurprising
Lol Cmon. A simple research of post history will show I'm far from "anti prohm." I've been a Prohm supporter well before @Cat Stevens even joined here.

All I was trying to say, is that it would have sucked balls if he blew up at SDSU, then we found out he grew up a Cyclone fan. Absolutely all hypothetical, and inconsequential at this point.

Where are you getting he grew up a Cyclone fan? His mom tweeted that he grew up a WSU and KSU fan but liked watching the Cyclones because of their playing style. You're kind of looking for something that isn't there.

I took it as when he was younger he was a Wichita St and K State fan. As he got older he became an Iowa State fan.

I guess it depends how you interpret it. Those first couple lines sound like he really wanted to be a cyclone. Thankfully it all worked out in both our favors.

I'd love to hear more about how this happened. Was he encouraged by someone to pay attention to the Cyclones? Were there particular players (or coaches) that attracted him? How did his Cyclone fandom emerge in the midst of being a WSU and KSU fan?

EZ, ISU needs guards for 2019-2120. KSU returns 2 guards with starting experience along with the back-up point guard. Weber just signed a juco point guard and has a shooting guard coming in from the first signing period that was taken over Grill initially. Which one will develop into the better Big 12 player is anyone's guess.

Yeah, that doesn't explain pictures from a few years ago wearing Iowa State apparel.

Damn, if they are still playing at 120 years old, I bow to them. Although, it is tough to say what the 2120 team will need at this point.

cracks me up that while Wichita St went to a final four, and K-state went to an an elite eight and won the b12, a kid in their backyard was a cyclone fan.

we can't even get a decent in-state kid to be a cyclone fan, and here was a kid somewhat randomly cheering for the cyclones from suburban wichita?!?!?

Mentioned he liked WSU and Kst but not Kansas. Guessing our success against an instate team he didn't follow and never offered comes into play.

Maybe. All info coming out before he committed was that he was down to KSU and UNLV and ISU was out of the picture. Fans always spin it after the fact. ISU has 2 guards with starting experience returning also, 2 backups and a shooting guard from the first signing period too. And will add another transfer guard one way or the other. Fact is, this kid wanted to go to ISU regardless of the other teams roster situations.

He mentioned in an early interview that he remembers all of the Big 12 tournament titles. And yes, being a perpetual thorn in KU's side probably didn't hurt.

Or maybe he just wanted a better education.

Sure he was shaking at the thought of having to beat McGuirl out for playing time. With his history of showing up for big games though i can completely understand.
