Sorry CW but cannot be true until I get an alert from Rivals. But hoping I do so we can become known as the NEW LINEBACKER U. (replacing old linebacker U which became PedoU

IT IS OFFICIAL NOW - also a 3.4 GPA
I don't think CW would have made the post if it weren't "official". :)

Mills, an outside linebacker, said that according to Iowa State's defensive coaching staff, he's projected to be a nickel back for the Cyclones at the next level.
hard hitting I'd assume :)

"He excels in the classroom and is every bit the gentleman that would make any proud parents even more proud. Don't let that broad smile fool you, though. He'll hit you hard, with or without the ball and his motor is constantly in over-drive."

Is the Sentinel trying to promote Mills' football skills or get him a date?

You have to like this quote from CW's article:

"My mom was big on that school," Mills told Cyclone Fanatic. "My little brother kept telling me to pick Iowa State too. My coaches like them as well so I picked them!"

Appealing to the moms... CPR taking a page out of Fred's book? Also great to see that his own little brother wanted him to go to ISU. Building that next generation of Clone fans. Awesome to see.

The Burnhams must still have a good rapport with high school coaches down there, too. Great to see. It'd be cool to schedule a game with USF or UCF down there sometime.

saw on another site he had a 4.5 40 and a 305 bench
Brian Mills's Football Recruiting Profile

I like what he says about himself: "My ideal school would be one with a solid academic, and athletic reputation. I am currently on the honor roll with a 3.5 GPA. I have very good morals, and am a true team player. I strive to be the best that I can be on and off the field and would embrace the chance to play football on the college level."

Sounds like our type of student-athlete! Welcome aboard Brian!

Looks like a quality recruit. Glad he joined the good guys and I hope he brings some more of those Florida kids with him!

Good to see. Watchign his highlights, seems like a good, aggressive athlete. Can't wait to see him on the field in a few years.

I wouldn't be surprised if his brother saw the videos of Rhoads' speeches and fell in love with him.

Judging by this guys size and speed i'd bet they put him at nickel.

Nice, this kid is fast, likes to hit and knows how to wrap up! Throw in his smarts and he could be a heckuva player. Welcome to the family Brian! You made the right choice. :)

Deon Broomfield 2.0?

That's what I'm hoping. At 6 feet, it'd be nice to see him get up around 205-210 lbs and play that hybrid cb/linebacker position.
