I thought it was interesting that he mentioned Des Moines. It's going to be a solid recruiting tool to have that close proximity to a fast growing upper end medium-sized city imo.

I agree and think ISU will used the proximity to Des Moines more often to promote what Ames and Iowa State have to offer. I know several students that attend junior college at DMACC but live in Ames.
