There was zero wrong with the officiating.

They wiped the floor with us because they simply out-worked us.

That offensive rebounding was embarrassing.

If they were the ones causing our shots to bang off the rim or the refs were holding our guys jerseys when they were missing rebounds, then yeah, screw those refs. From what I saw, ISU did a great job of ******** the bed on their own today.

So, we've lost as a #2 and a #3, hopefully next year we can get a #1 seed and do the unthinkable and lose to a #16.

In their defense, they probably put the weakest tournament crew on the game, thinking it wouldn't be close.
Absent the pirate thing, I'm assuming you're being serious. And if that's the case, this may be the stupidest post on this board. And that is an accomplishment.

Blaming this loss on the refs is like blaming the Titanic on the ship's orchestra. They were there, but they didn't cause the sinking.

Seriously? Must we always have some crying about officiating? It's so embarrassing to continually see these threads. And then to suggest a payoff? Wow...just, wow.

ISU's players were generally beat this year once they started griping at the refs early in the game.

Today was no exception.

It is absolutely ridiculous to think that this loss had anything to do with the officiating. Play like a Man, win like a Man, and lose like a Man, not a whiney beaatch.

Um, really? You don't think the consider the potential toughness of the game when making assignments? Absent the pirate thing, THAT might just be the stupidest post on the board.

I realize the team could not have played much more poorly and I don’t want to be cry baby, but those refs were so bad it almost makes me wonder if payola was involved!

You don't want to be a cry baby? This thread indicates otherwise.

Jesus....stop whining about officiating. Tournament officiating is way different than even conference officiating. Infinitely more physical and you don't get calls.....Iowa is going to see what a difference not getting every tic tac foul does to your offense.

we got nothing from niang, Naz, hogue, BDJ or Nader......and our absolute refusal to box out? We deserved that.

The Refs did not cost us the game, our rebounding or lack thereof did...I hope we are never a No1...2...or 3 seed again, seems like we do better with a lower seed......Im really happy we won the big 12 tournament.....esp after this game.

It shouldn't have come down to it, but it sure looked like Niang was fouled across the arm on that last drive. Again, absolutely shouldn't have even been in a situation like that, just making an observation.
