Hi All,

Looking for some recommendations on HVAC companies to install a new furnace and AC.

I have, Neighbors, C&K and One Hour doing estimates.

Any others I should consider?

Assuming you're in central Iowa? If so, Northway Heating and Cooling.

Been using Lozier for about 10 years
Got a new HVAC and water heater at our last house through them
Probably need to start planning for those at our current place now too..

C&K did ours about 10 years ago. Very satisfied. Single level ranch house. Thinking we spent around eight grand for AC and furnace.

I used Bell Brothers and was happy. On the other hand, we have friends that used them two years ago, and they've been without an air conditioner for over a month.

We had quotes from Schaal, City Wide, and Golden Rule. We ended up going with City Wide for just under $10k. However that was 2020, so I imagine prices have gone up since.

The biggest thing is you have to stay on top of it. I had a checklist of things they didn't do or clean up at the end that I held them to.

2 neighbors put in new ones last week for $20k and $22k.

Dad did his last spring for $15k.

I’m not in your area, but that’s insane. I had Lennox furnace and AC systems installed last year for $5250 I believe.

I quoted lots of places and got a pretty basic set up. $20k is definitely not the minimum

True Comfort. I highly recommend them.

I just installed a unit at a townhouse and it was $13,000.

I had 72 degrees replace ours 5 years ago and was treated well at a fair price.
I think they sold out to the parent that owns Holt.

Robert's out of Carlisle. They do quality work and they have good technicians, with expert service.
