Two of the three are Vegas kids, one of whom, Collins is not going there due to the DUI. Kaluma is good friends with Collins, so we will see what happens. It would’ve been a hell of a class, but due to things outside of TJs control it was not going to end up quite as good. It will be interesting to see what Kaluma does.

And for all the "well, they could debunk the claim" replies that are coming, why would UNLV even know about the claim? They're probably not sitting around watching Pollard videos about the hire.
I'm sure Pollard isn't lying about that. He isn't that dumb.
Yeah, I was just pointing out that at the moment was the best class ever there. People just kept trying to say how it was just an average class for UNLV.
If he's good enough for the Iceman, he's good enough for me.
You don't think things said about their coach leaving won't be watched by a single UNLV fan - and that word of it won't make its way back to the UNLV fanbase as a whole - and the administration? I'm sure some that don't like TJ and some that do like him as well will be asking the question about what was offered. That would be when the UNLV AD would confirm or deny the offer - or choose to not comment. If it were a lie, we would hear about it and Jamie knows that so he isn't going to say it if it isn't true.

Hell Jamie probably negotiated being able to say they offered an extension. Probably upped the buyout by 500,000.

Enough of the negative TJ and negative Jamie comments. I love freedom of speech, but feelings and opinions without facts in this moment are effed up. Please start a thread that negatively focuses on TJ and Jamie and I will be sure to never read a page. TIA.
No one is saying you can’t hold the opinion that Jamie made this hire look worse than it is, but posting something sarcastic / hyperbolic every 10 seconds is just being childish and whiney. Lol
Yeah, no way is that an average class for UNLV. They have always recruited well, but even as a TJ skeptic I have to give props for that class and his ability to recruit overall.
