Whatever happened last season is meaningless. Until the kids are competently coached you can't hold anything against them.

I honestly hope we are surprised by the hire. I just hope it is a coach that knows how to utilize bigs. We have been severely limited there since Larry. You gotta be able to get easy buckets, defend the lane, and rebound to win the regular season title and advance in the NCAAs. As we have seen, small ball has limitations.
Tang it is.

I'm telling you all that my buddy's brother's wife's sister's husband was pretty confident it was going to be Hornacek

My cousin's a grubhub driver who delivered to the AD building last night. He said that the entire front lobby was covered in streamers and balloons, with a big banner that says "Welcome Home Larry!!!!"

Take that for what you will...

I’d have to think most rational fans figured TJ would be the most likely candidate. The biggest knock on him last time around was no head coaching experience, which he now has.

What does he bring that is different than Prohm? Prohm could bring talent here too - didn’t he bring in something like 3 of our top 5-6 recruits in history? Two of his guys are getting serious NBA minutes. Coaching was Prohm’s issue, not recruiting. Hopefully TJ is different in that.
Prohm was able to get high end talent but wasn’t great at recruiting a cohesive roster. I think TJ will be better at roster management. I think he will be a lot better at getting those 4 year guys that make teams.
