Hope it isn't a bad sprain. But with the beating he took it is probably good for Rohoch to get a week with the ones. No way Richardson stays healthy all year with our line and all his running. We will need Rohoch to be ready to step in.

Not good news by any means, but at least he has two weeks to get healthy for the next game. I have a feeling that we may see more of these issues throughout the year if the o-line play doesn't improve. Rohach will be getting a lot of practice with the 1's this week and that could pay off later.

He was really hobbling the last couple of times Iowa State had the ball in the game.

Yes he was. Thanks goes out to the OL and the horrible playcalling that got Sam injured. What do the coaches really expect to happen to him getting beaten like that all night long? Way to go. More kudos to the coaches.

So now we have two weeks to get better and to get ready for Iowa, but yet, our starting QB won't be getting any extra reps than the normal one week. Great news. Should bode well for us.

And now, when Sam is able to come back, he'll probably be at about 75% of full speed. Wonderful.

It took Mess one game to almost get his starting QB killed. Great work!

Good god, it's only a sprained ankle. They happen in sports sometimes. And if he's able to practice Sunday, he should be full speed by game time.

Can't believe how quickly this season turned into a total dumpster fire.

I can't imagine what kind of basket-case you are when there is something serious going wrong in your life. I bet it's a spectacle.

Also, where's the dumb **** who was questioning Sams heart?

As both Chris W. and Adam Gray said in the podcast... the Iowa game is now a must win.

And we'll be going into it without our starting center and a QB not at 100%. I just hope we can pull it off. If we start 0-2 it will quickly become a dumpster fire.

honestly if i were the coach i would just make it clear richardson is still the #1 but start rohach for iowa; give richardson the rest. iowa game is going to by physically straining game and richardson may not make it through it unless he is 100%. plus rohach seems to be the better runner and able to take more hits. ya but all in all things are not looking well.

That will never happen. If Richardson can play, he's going to be the guy. Rohach isn't ready yet. The Iowa game is now HUGE. It's not like we can just take the "L" and let Sam rest. If we take a loss, the season could very well be over... at least any chance of making a bowl game.

I don't understand why you post as often as you do sometimes. We understood after the first post you're very upset and concerned.

The 'like' button doesn't really apply, but this sums up all of my thoughts about it.
That's just outstanding from the OC. Maybe against Iowa, we could make sure that they tate his kappa from his body.

I'm confused. I thought it was a sprained ankle, but everyone is acting like it is a broken foot. I better not see anyone who is freaking out over this in the soccer threads ripping on soccer injuries. Sam will put some tape on it and be at 100% (or as close to it as any other player) against Iowa..

Of course he sprained his ankle. This is Iowa State. You expected a happy ending?
