RIP Gene Hackman

I have used this scene so many times over the years when my favorite team had a bad case of the drops. Especially the 2023 Chiefs team that had Kadarius Toney that I am pretty sure lead the league in dropped passes that season.

Welcome to Mooseport was his last movie. It had a few funny parts, but a bummer to go out on a clunker like that.

Reading thru his database, has anyone seen "The Conversation?"

Sounds interesting to me.

I'm beginning to think William Shatner is going to outlive Patrick Stewart. For 93 he sure looks good and seems to be very active.

I have a great uncle who still walks around fine and even drives at 93. He fell bad with broken ribs last year and I thought that was probably it for him, but he's right back at it like nothing happened. Some people are just made of different stuff.

Oh man who was the dude from the Oakland Raiders that was always loaded up with stickum? Late 70s early 80s.

Did anyone see this or know any this? Gene lived in Storm Lake for a short time

It is listed in his Wikipedia page. He lived there one year, then lied about his age and joined the Marines at age 16.
I didn't even think to look there. And didn't realized he lied about his age to get into the Marines. I should study up on him more as he is one of my favorites of all time.

I think I watch Hoosiers at least 10 times a basketball season with my son and daughter. Reminds me of watching it with my brothers and dad when I was a kid.
