Completely false. Give Pierre 5 inches to be closer to the others, and he would be the best college player in the country. The stuff that guy did was crazy. Without him next season, Baylor will struggle big regardless of who they have coming back.

In fact, if I was to make a conference allstar team.
PG: Pierre/Smart
SG: McLemore/McGrudder/Brown
SF: Clyburn/Nash
PF: Ejim/Niang
C: Osby/Withey

That's fun. I think my team would be:
PG: Pierre Jackson
SG: Marcus Smart
SF: Ben McLemore
PF: Romero Osby
C: Jeff Withey

Bench: McGrudder and the entire ISU starting 5 and Tyrus McGee and one more to make it 13... let's see, need some depth for the big guys... the West Virginia center who looks like a mountaineer.
Coach: Self and Hoiberg

I'd put that line-up against any other conference's best.

Back to the thread topic: I love Royce and I'm happy he's talking to the Minnesota recruits. With Tubby gone, I bet our chances improved. (I can't think of any coach that would leave their school to go to the Gophers that would hurt our chances...)

I only have one message to Royce White, to play basketball so I can watch you in the pros. If you can help ISU fine, but I would rather have you taking care of business on the professional level. I am not a pro-basketball fan, but if you play, I will watch.

Pierre Jackson also sucks on defense, which doesn't help his case especially against Smart.

UK already has top 6 of 18 in freshman class. There may be a waste of time for him going to UK for a year.

That's for 2013. Half or more will be gone by the time RV is a freshman in 14.

I would put Babb at SG somewhere. Just because he doesn't score points his defensive performance gets overlooked. If he holds a guy 10 pts below his average that is as if he scored 10 pts in addition to the actual 10 pts he averages a game.

so you would have 4 out of 10 guys from the fourth place team in the big 12 on the list? Dont get me wrong, i loved this years team, probably more than any other year, but I think thats being pretty biased......ah hell, this site is the place to be biased, count me in for that list too. you could make a decent argument for Mcgee also, maybe even lucious. They played so well as a unit that its hard to pick just one or two guys out of the bunch. I think Ejim and Clyburn were probably the most deserving though.

We had so many glue guys this year - Ejim was the commonly talked about 'glue' guy, but Babb, Niang, Tyrus all showed the same qualities. That was a special team we had!

Agreed. It will be so nice to have Niang and Ejim back again.
