I never found one, but I think I read on clutchfans.net that they sell on in the team store at the Toyota Center.
Unless he releases the details of the protocol it's pretty hard to support Royce here. From the few tweets and one of the articles I have seen (I stopped following months ago) it sounds like he wants doctors to have higher authority that the coaches and from office. Unless the scope of that authority that is a pretty ridiculous statement. Otherwise you basically just need to find a doctor that says Royce needs to be transported to all games by rickshaw, must get messages while on the bench, is exempt from free throws and gets to wear Hakeem Olajuwan's jersey in order to contain his anxiety and the Rockets would have to go for it. Release the details. If they are reasonable he'll get the public's support instead of looking like a lazy diva.
Also why am I the only one that has this picture in my head when I picture Royce talking to the Rockets - I see Royce with a ventriloquist dummy dressed as a doctor sitting on his lap that looks back and forth and only says protocol.

I wish something could get worked out where he's able to play, but it's looking pretty bad. I'm interested in knowing what safety issues he sees without having a protocol in place. Could he become suicidal living with constant travel and the subsequent anxiety that produced if his doctors are ignored?
Odds are with as educated he feels he is about anxiety he will not do anything life threatening. Its usually the ones who feel completely different that do stuff like that.
I'm done with him at this point. He sounds like a kid that his mom never told him no and made an excuse for everything he did with this S.hit. This is his job!!! I may be wrong but didn't the rockets agree to let him ride a bus to some games had he been on an NBA roster? It's in their best interest to make this work with Royce, It's a shame Royce can't see it's even more in his. And the **** he retweets, why give someone the satisfaction of retweeting the trash they were talking to you?? Pointless
This is a different kid then we saw last year in Ames. Fred obviously was able to get him to concentrate and able to cater to him the way someone paying you millions of dollars won't and probably can't.

It seems that he wants the Rockets (and the NBA in general) to adopt a protocol that gives players the right to choose their own doctors who can make final decisions regarding work conditions. It isn't any particular issue at the moment, but a general policy that he wants in place. Thus, it seems that his real issue may be with the union. If this is a legitimate request, then the union should include it in the next collective bargaining.

He seems so headstrong on this, I would expect to see some sort of lawsuit against the NBA and the union. Perhaps he can drag up a few former NBA players to help him make it a class-action suit. At this point, it seems all about the cause and a suit would be the logical next step. He may end up getting some money to settle out of court, but he will probably lose that money because he won't be able to honor the no comment agreement.
Isn't his uncle Dave Winfield? I hope he is talking to him. It seems that he may just be listening to the anxiety activists.

Is there a moratorium on posts about Royce? I thought there would be lots of comments about the suspension and feature article in the Des Moines Register this morning.

He was interviewed on the Hang Up and Listen podcast this week if anyone is interested. He explained his position, talked a little bit about ISU and Fred. I thought he did a good job explaining what he wants to accomplish but I'm still pretty pessimistic that he can get an NBA team to go along with it, for better or worse. Not sure if this was covered in the previous 20 pages, but does anyone think Fred's credibility with NBA teams may take a hit here? You know McHale called Fred about Royce before they drafted him and Fred obviously gave him enough reassurance that they drafted him. What happens then next time an NBA GM is looking at an ISU player? Do they take Fred at his word?
Yes, it has been covered. No, his credibility isn't affected.
1. Fred likely didn't blow smoke up McHale's ***. He gave a fair assessment of the Royce he worked with pointing out both positives and negatives like any "boss" would.
2. Fred kept Royce in line and playing basketball.

What CyDude and Agronomist said is absolutely true, and I'd just also add that Royce is a very unique case; nobody in their right mind would think that every player from CFH's program is a risk to pull these types of shenanigans just because Royce has.
Does anyone else continually open this thread hoping by some chance that there is finally good news in it? (but knowing it is a long shot...)
Does anybody think Fred hasn't called Royce up and talked to him about all of this? I think he has.
