Go, get out. The more that leave, the more JP will be forced to look at the situation instead of just blaming other people.

Why post something like this if you don't put names with it. Any how who could leave now that would make us any worse.

I knew there was a reason Coach was at many of the intramural games lately...

Most of the roster that is left are players who, if they decided to leave ISU, thier careers would be done, or they would have to sit out a year to play their final year. Those include JVB, Dendy, Boozer, DG, and Scotty C.

After that, you have Dorr, Palo, and Oliver. Palo and Oliver red-shirted last year, so I would doubt they would really want to sit out another year and lose a year of eligibility when neither of them are proven yet.

I'm pretty certain we are done with the "transfer" talk at this point in time. However, we can still have players just decide that they are done with their basketball careers, but outside of Dendy, I would be surprised to see them want that.

So are we talking Dorr to Iowa?

It amazes me that people actively hope for further setbacks in our program.

Rock and Hard Place. Obviously JP is still blaming other people for his mistakes so I think the only way to fix them is to hit rock bottom.

It amazes me that an AD of a Big 12 program would be quoted as he blames parents, students and society for the lack of relationships HIS coach is able to build. Bottom line is if GMAC had connected and had trust with these kids like I'm sure he promises when he recruits, they wouldn't be taking off like crazy. Whether we think they should be mature enough or not at 18 or 19 to travel across state lines and get yelled at not be able to overcome those issues on their own doesn't matter because they are looking for their coach to be involved and be that father figure. Obviously that isn't taking place here. The AD will back a coach that says he is sticking with his plan than has produced 3 consecutive 4-12 Big 12 records AND chased away recruit after recruit and you think US as fans are hoping for further setbacks????? I hate to thing what kind of recruiting setback we just got from that Gazette article.

People keep saying jp is putting the blame on other people, personally I'm not sure that is the case. Yes he stood by coach mac and said he supported him but I still think that was more of a publicity/media move. Maybe I am looking at it the wrong way but I can't imagine jp is just sitting there and saying "okay Greg thats okay we don't need him anyway" I think Jamie said that to the public and behind closed doors is putting more pressure on coach mac. Basically we don't know all that has been said between them, nor are we entitled to know that.

I agree with jp that kids these days are too pampered growing up and in some cases may think they can it the reset button like on a video game. That being said this isn't a video game and we have problems to deal with here and citing the above reasoning isn't a solution to the problem nor should it be accepted but the problem needs to be looked at in the big picture as well as the local picture.

If you think the rumors are important enough to post what you heard on a public forum, why wouldn't you post all the information you've heard about the rumors?

Specifically, which players are you hearing?

Personally, I think it's ******** to post "I've heard something" but then not posting what you've heard.

I agree. The only further loss that I think has much of a chance of happening is Dendy just giving up basketball.
