You leave CF for a night and we lose a recruit? I am not sure what to think, Hill reminded me a lot of Woody. Anyway is there any recruits that we can go after at this point to fill the void left by Hill? Will Rhoads still recruit a running back for this class?

Hill wasn't that great, let him go. If he has so little character that his word means nothing, then we can also assume that when adversity strikes the team, he'll be the type who who take his ball and go home.
Also, he's a 2-star recruit with a 4.91 40-yard. I ran a 4.9 in high school too and I never felt fast.

surprised we'd recruit a guy with these measurables with all the talent in our backfield...
With the depth we have maybe the coaches felt he has a lot of growth potential and they could afford to give him 2-3 years in the weight room before he'd see a lot of time on the field.
We have 7 running backs. Most umderclassman. Go after another quarterback. Just keep recruiting qb's until we find a good one
Maybe they planned on Hill switching positions anyways? RB and QB are typically the two most talented players on the team and he wasn't a good fit for our offense..
If we do go hard after another RB I hope its one that fits the offense better.. but really it seemed like we've been over recruiting anyways and if losing Hill opens up a scholly for someone like Gary Simon I'm not going to complain. Things will work out just fine.

I too still can run a 4.9. So can several linemen. Time to move on. Robert Standard will be really good.
After his knee injury I doubt he's that fast right now
But seriously his rivals profile has him at around a 4.6 and that's much easier to believe for me
