Very cool, kudos to them for getting to all 7 home games last year. Hopefully they didn't wince too much as Sam had his brains beat in through those games.
It's probably not the main reason for a recruit to pick a school, but having direct flights from more and more places certainly wouldn't hurt recruiting.
Yeah....even though we only had six home games?

They could also be counting last year's spring game as a "home game."
Allegiant flies Sanford (very close to Winter Park) to Des Moines very inexpensively. They know the schedule so they can book in advance. Only problem is they don't usually have a lot of flights per week.

I've flown that route 3-4 times. Very nice to have a direct flight. The Sanford airport (yes, same town as the George Zimmerman trial) is about the same size as DSM, so easy to zip in and out. Close to Daytona, too.
