Suggesting slashing tires, even in jest is not even funny.
They left, (I also hate they left and think it is a mistake).
We need to just show some class, let the game be played and treat their fans with respect in the same way we want to be treated when visiting another stadium.

I hate to lose a big time member of the conference, which aTm was, btw. But if their leaving makes it so the 'elite' of the conference come to realize it's in their best interest to keep the conference together, and the best way to do that is to share tier 1 and 2 TV money equally, then their leaving is not in vain.
I have no idea if they are getting a bigger pay day by going to the SEC, but if it helps ISU get more money, I'm all for it.

A&M is 100% in the wrong in all this in their actions toward the Big 12.
Their own votes on conference rules, along with Nebraska and OU, are what enabled Texas to make so much money.
In their warped minds they thought it would be them benefiting from all the unequal revenue rules. When they couldn't keep up they bolted.

I did say "within reason". Slashing tires is going too far. People running around with fake mason jars and yelling the occasional obscenity/generally razzing them isn't.

I agree that we do need to remain classy which means no tire slashing and no mason jars (but it is pretty funny). I like singing "Happy Trails" but what about the old "Sha na na na, sha na na na, hey hey, good bye!" I think I like that even better as their send off.

This is the halftime show that should have included "**** You"...
I'd say the lyrics as a whole would sum up the situation, not just the title.
A&M lied to the rest of the Big 12 about their commitment, and it's nearly destroyed the league. It may do so yet.
And it's not like the SEC was looking for this. A&M got on their knees and begged, and the SEC decided it would be a good business move.
Lastly, leaving for the Big 10 is totally different than leaving for the SEC. The financial gain is gigantic, and it's actually an easier league. A&M will make about the same money in the SEC, while their program gets destroyed. They are cutting off their nose to spite their face and endangering entire Universities in the process. All to show Texas they don't need them. It's deplorable, awful behavior. They are actually going to hurt their program and are risking the destruction of several others. There's no way to defend their actions, IMHO.
