So does assuming this would be a financial windfall for ISU.
It wont be a financial downfall for ISU.

I wouldn't want it to be identical. The upper deck of the end zone should wrap all the way around and not just be in the middle of it. Honestly how much more can just wrapping it around cost?
No it doesn't. There is another school in our conference who made over $500,000 PROFIT on beer sales last year.
That is an inarguable fact. Give me a single reason it wouldn't be similarly lucrative here?
All it takes is 1 underage kid that gets served and then kills someone in a car accident to make those dollars go away real quick.
The risk/reward is not worth it for the dollars we are talking.
Feel like I'm beating a dead horse here.

I just don't see how college are running a greater risk than pro teams.
There are already quite a few colleges doing it. Really, the only schools that don't are the ones in the 5 most powerful leagues. Many Big East and mid-major schools do it. How is our risk any higher? What is this risk?
If I saw something that showed the risk being significant, it would make more sense. I don't see where the risk is, and no one is really specifying the risk. They're just saying "its risky" and making the assumption.

I have no idea how our risk compares to other schools/pro teams that allow beer sales at games. My comment was objecting to the absolute-ness of your statement and wasn't making a statement regarding the risk/benefit to ISU.

I agree, it would be nice to close it in entirely. I also love the idea of moving the band to the south end zone.
Can anyone explain why the student section is where it is? Why wouldn't we put them behind the opposing team's bench?
WHAT ABOUT "JP WON'T ALLOW IT" DOES NO ONE GET HERE ?????? GEEZ THIS IS BEYOND STUPID. Let's debate paving all of central campus next for gawd's sake.No it doesn't. There is another school in our conference who made over $500,000 PROFIT on beer sales last year.

LOL...JP is a business man. I am a business man. I can see pretty easily why we do not sell beer at JTS. The $$$$ need to be higher to offset all the issues that have been brought up in this thread. That is the bottom line. Be happy you can sneak a Busch Light in the game

Back on the stadium ...... has anyone seen the details on the tunnel from the FOF to it's exit??? So cool.

Just because JP doesn't allow it doesn't mean it doesn't make sense. I'm not arguing about whether or not JP will allow it.
I have yet to see any real issues brought up in this thread. Merely unsubstantiated doomsday scenarios.
Part of any risk assessment is to assume worst case scenario. That is how it is done...FYI.
