A little derailing here but has anyone heard anything on Alton Meeks recently? Are we still after him or is he staying committed to Cincy?

This is a great development. Shawn should fit right in and plan on anchoring a tackle spot for probably 3 years. He is prototypical CPR lineman, tall and athletic. CPR's goal is to have linemen that are athletic enough to get to the second level on runs, but still strong enough to hold the point on passing plays. All according to plan......

I've seen a lot of people mentioning Campos lately. Maybe I am out of the loop, but I thought he was solid to Mizzou. Is he having a change of heart after their spectacular SEC debut??

Rhoads himself is still recruiting him. Campos also attended an ISU camp instead of a Mizzou camp after his commitment IIRC.

Other thread on Ramirez decommiting & opening up his recruitment (he's a 4-star LB from Lees Summit) leads one to believe there may be some scuttlebutt going on in Columbia (could just be our wishful thinking, but it is fun to do at Pinkel's expense).

and was spotted at a game earlier in the season w/ other recruits.

Thanks guys. Wasn't sure if people were just throwing his name out there or if there was some real possibility that he may switch.

If we pulled Ramirez and Campos from MU, I would be over the moon. Taking them from Missouri would make it twice as sweet.

Here nor there
Great get and even better that he will have an additional Spring camp on campus. Very excited to see him anchor the edge for our future QB's. Can you imagine if we add Campos? We would really start to have the Oline pipeline set-up to take the "next step".

Rumors are that Pinkel may be in a bit of trouble down in Tiggerland. A scum bag like Petrnio, minus the winning.

If ISU gets Ramirez without offering him a scholarship I think the NCAA might have to do some investigating.

DO IT!

I'd be proud to have my random internet ramblings honored as your avatar! HA!

Was it you or me that came up with OMGSTARZNOFFERZ? Either way, I'm glad to have this kid. Campos-I really don't think he's coming here because enough has happened that I think if he was going to switch, he would.
