I'm not sure what people are talking about in "growing out" of the Switch. This isn't a gimmick platform like the Wii was. The switch is an actual console releasing actual games (including 2 of the top 5? titles of 2017). Of course it will never have the power of an XBone or PS4. But it's easy to get the value out of a Switch.

Yeah. I wasn't sure about the Switch. It does like they are trying to have games other than Mario so that's awesome. I think my boys want one, but they also already have a PS4 at their mom's house.

I'm planning on getting a PS4 for me eventually, but that's also for me and not just the boys.

The Switch is a good machine. I don't play mine a ton since I beat Zelda and Mario Kart. I do have Mario Odyssey, but it hasn't hooked me. I always preferred 2d Mario games though. There is tons of good indie games on it that kids can play like Stardew Valley and Golf Story.

For me, it will be a Nintendo games only machine for the most part. For some reason, I really like trophies, so I will play most multi-platform games on my PS4.

They need to put virtual console on the Switch. That will get me to play it a ton more.

Didn't have the internet/video games growing up. Had 15k Hog spaces to take care of.
Well La-de-freaking-da. I also didn’t really have the internet growing up, and I’m probably younger than you so that means more, but you don’t see me coming in here with a kids these days/back in my day attitude.

My niece is 16 and just bought a switch a few weeks ago. It is a really cool concept of console plus a handheld game. She only has Zelda, but that game is really well done and deep (meaning not beat in a week).

Back in my day we had to use dial up AOL to get the internet. And I didn't have that till the end of high school!
