Should move up considerably in the AP poll this week. How many?

Just thought it was interesting how many teams immediately surrounding us lost this week:

------------------------------------------------------------
Won - 11. Kansas
Lost - 12. N. Carolina
Won - 13. San Diego St.
Lost - 14. Ohio St.
Lost - 15. Miami (FL)
Lost - 16. West Virginia
Lost - 17. Michigan
Lost - 18. Arkansas
Lost - 19. Michigan St.
Won - 20. Iowa St.
Lost - 21. Maryland
Won - 22. Oklahoma
Won - 23. Butler
Lost - 24. Illinois
Won - 25. Utah
Won - 26. Northern Iowa
------------------------------------------------------------

How many spots do you think we can jump with that blow out win over #18?

I honestly think we should jump all of the losing teams this week and get back to lucky #13.

EDIT Bonus: Where should UNI land since they are #26?

Worst is 14. Won and all teams 14-19 lost. So clearly worst is 14. No one below us had a better win to get jumped over. Best I agree is 12. But I'm bettering we are 14.

The only way we could get to #12 is if we jump Wichita St. who is currently #8 but lost. Not enough teams lost to get us to #12 unless you think we jump San Diego St.?

I don't necessarily think we get to #12, I just made a statement that it's the best case scenario. Personally I think we're at #14, maybe #13.

NJIT may pass us.
Utah has a shot since they beat #8 but I think we impressed with the W over #18 so I don't see us getting passed up - our basketball team doesn't get treated that way anymore. (I hope.)

So your saying back to #13
I really think so with all the losses. I think we jump UNC because I think they fall further than #12 to #14 for that loss to Iowa @UNC. I'm not dogging on Iowa but that is a bad loss for Roy and to not drop to at least #15 behind us when they lose two consecutive weeks?

I feel confident it's #13.

13 is my guess. Does Iowa get into the ranking after their victory over UNC? They weren't getting any votes and the win over UNC was pretty ugly, but their only loses are to top 25 opponents. I hate Iowa, but it would be cool to make the annual contest a battle of ranked teams (as long as we win all of them). ;)

We'll pass Arkansas, Michigan, and Michigan State for sure, putting us at 17. We possibly could pass UNC, Ohio State, and West Virginia too, which would put us at 14. I'll say we are ranked 15th
