I love it!! I have bought several songs that way - I also love the Genius shuffle.
It does a few things that I can think of.
If you highlight a song in your library, it will find similar songs to purchase.
If you right click and choose "Genius playlist" it will create a playlist of songs from your library that are similar to that one song.
