I remember it as kelly shopping us by saying he needed more time and JP wanted a quicker answer so he cut bait on him.

The rumor I remember is that he wanted the Michigan State job and if he didn't get that he would take the ISU job, but we were going to have to wait a few days until MSU made their announcement. Obviously Kelly didn't get it.

Iowa State fans upset by my comment Toledo in some ways a better job. Tom Herman and Gene Chizik did nothing at ISU. Left and won NC.


Iowa State shut out Texas 24-0. The Texas program is so bad right now that Brown and Strong cant win there.If I were Mr. Autullo, I'd be asking myself is Toledo a better job than Texas?
