Good grief...can we just let this thread die already? I mean, the discussion here has circled around on itself so many times it's ridiculous.

There's three feet of floor there. Part of it just has a media table sitting on it... It doesn't say "three unobstructed feet".

lol. Hilton should have an adjustable scorers table. 3' for the home team, 1" for the visitors.

Um, no. That is not a violation. If Mason had been in control of the ball prior to going out of bounds then it would be. Otherwise, it is not.

RULE 9

Section 4. Player Out of Bounds
Art. 1. A player who steps out of bounds under his own volition and then becomesthe first player to touch the ball after returning to the playing court has committeda violation.

That was the rule when I was playing. Didn't know if it was changed.

Every time Kansas cheats to win I think it can be discussed as long as people want to on here

If they reestablish themselves with two feet inbounds then they can be the first to touch the ball.

Like i said, a few years ago, but if you went out of bounds, there had to be someone else touch the ball first. Whether it hits a leg or dingleberries back, it had to touch someone else first.

Are you ******* kidding me?

Yes. I was. Emojis are for girls so I didn't include a jimlad. I will go with:

<SARCASM>There's three feet of floor there. Part of it just has a media table sitting on it... It doesn't say "three unobstructed feet"</SARCASM>

next time.

Between Tuco and one of the "other" Hawk trolls who survived the purge, hard to read anything here but the Star Wars thread. Maybe if there was a way people could quit quoting them?

Took a close look last night. The Iowa State court is compliant with the 3 feet of space outside the boundary lines. Even with the video ad boards, there is plenty of room. In fact, our tables and video ad boards don't even extend over the wood of the court. If they took out folding chairs and tables, they could probably meet the ideal 10 feet of space.

This was proven wrong last night. A texas tech player ran the baseline and went out of bounds to aviod a Cyclone defender and then received a pass once he was back inbounds. Whistle by the refs and a turnover. ISU ball.
