Don't think anything happened. Had a couple of injuries but I'm sure he's fine. Depression issues his senior year but I noticed a wide spread paranoia and anxiety epidemic recently so I'm sure his issues are minor in comparison to what a lot of people go through.

What happened with Nick Noskowiak?

Niang and McKay made a good impression. Not unexpected with their personalities.

@TravisHines21: Just spoke to Simeon Carter. Said he’ll be on campus on Aug. 22nd. Called it a “blessingâ€￾ to play alongside guys like Niang & McKay.

We knew about Oregon & Illinois but apparently Texas also wanted Carter as well.

@RandyPete: #cyclones newest basketball recruit, Simeon Carter, told me that Texas, Oregon, and Illinois also offered after he de-committed from SMU

Like this kid a heck of a lot more than biefieldt

The invaluable experience of Biefeldt fit the role the upcoming team needed, however. But, yeah, obviously a freshmen in Carter will be more beneficial long term. Welcome aboard.

Welcome Simeon Carter- agree with Prohm that this is a home run.
and maybe landing Xavier Simpson and Emmanuel Malou?
And Cheick Diallo possibly ineligible at KU??? I love it!

He's at Lake of the Ozarks. I hear he also likes Country music so he obviously needs to continue his tour of Missouri lakes by heading to southern MO and Branson. That ought to take at least a few more days.
Can we send him onto Nashville?

Didn't realize Maryland recruited him pretty hard too before he committed to SMU.

That's retro and I like it. I don't expect many minutes from him this year, but I do expect that McKay and Niang will make him grow up in a hurry.

Prohm mentioned 10-20 minutes a game, but obviously there are some factors and situations that play into that.

We got experience this year. No need for beifieldts bench presence when u have a talented fresh that can learn under a great duo

I wondered about that, when watching highlights. I was uncertain if ISU had a double-zero in its uniform number set. I can't recall anyone else using it. Someone will set me straight if I'm wrong.

@brentblum: The last 3 Cyclones to wear a variation of #0? Jordan Railey, Charles Boozer and Shawn Taggart. Good luck Simeon. https://t.co/cD3QdUNKYI

I'm pretty certain that ISU would let a player wear a 'B' for their number if they wanted to and the NCAA would allow it. I'm not sure what their current uniform set has to do with it.

Right? It's not like they're preprinted and passed on from team to team like middle school jerseys lol

Scratch what I said about uniform set -- I thought maybe they started with #1 -- couldn't remember off-hand players who wore 0's..

And I beg to differ, there are limits:

College basketball players can't wear 6, 7, 8, 9
