Still trying figure out why he, coaches, and team can't pound the Fawkeyes into the turf. Mind blowing.
it's incredible really, losing to a beatable (and they are very beatable) team 5 freaking years in a row. As good a he is, he still sucks in September, that is just a fact, he has shown an inability to have his team ready to play winning football in September.

If CMC told me to cut off my left foot, I would cut off my right foot as well.
I don’t think that’s what General Patton meant when he said “Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity.”

These guys REALLY know what they're doing when it comes to social media and multimedia presentation. And of course it doesn't hurt to have Campbell's talks to build off of. Really impressive, as always.

That was awesome. So many great guys on this team that I will miss watching next year. Excited for the rest of this season! Get through OSU with a W and I like our chances the rest of the way.

I think Campbell is kinda full of it, but these are 18-22 year old football players, so the dramatic tone and motivational platitudes are effective. Strong closing line though.

If Campbell is full of it he must be good, because several parents say he sold them as well. Also, adults pay to see motivational speakers. So.

oh he’s definitely good. And the heart of what he says is usually true. It’s a little long winded, and even guys like Kolar have made fun of him for “finding a new phrase”. It just strikes me as a little dramatic, but college football coaches have been doing that for more than a century. If I had a kid, I’d feel very comfortable with Campbell as a leader. Just not my personal cup of tea when it comes to motivation.

There is no bigger motivator than the fear of letting your teammates down, IMO. That is CMC's message and it never gets old. Yes CMC stumbles through it at times and the guys rib him, but the successful players take his message to heart.
