Based off our slow starts in seasons past, I'll go:
Clones: 24
Cajuns: 17

Or even better.
ISU 70
Cajuns 7

After the game the nation realizes that Purdy will win the Heisman.
As the year goes on he does, but since the big10 isabitch the squaks never give credit for the Heisman win.

Purdy goes over to Iowa City just to take a piss on Kinnick Stadium - ala Ozzy Alamo mode.

Cyclones live happily ever after.

Why is that, just expecting a slow start? The offense is widely considered our strongest piece, and LA's defense isn't highly regarded. Not saying they're Monroe, but we put 70+ on them a year ago.

I actually think our defense is likely higher rated than our offense going into the season.

If they struggle to contain the run, I would love to see a steady diet of Hall. Keep the ball away from their offense, wear down their defense even more, and keep that clock running.

I think it's exciting that we are playing a team that is competitive with ISU and could beat us if we make mistakes or fail to bring great emotion and effort. So, assuming we play well and play hard, I could see maybe a 35-20 win. The game is on my birthday, so I think I get my way.

happy bday larry

That team was 11-3 last year. I imagine their defense is about the same as UNI, except they have better d-backs.

Only two losses were to App. St. twice and Miss. St. by 10. Did have a common opponent last year -- ULM -- who ISU destroyed and they barely beat. But you can't take them lightly.

It’s going to be a longggggg brutal game. No fans, Louisiana has nothing to lose, they’ll be motivated to play and we won’t.... look at the drake and uni games the past two years. Louisiana is damn good. I can see it going either way. Make sure you add fireball to your beer bongs in hope to just getting this game over with faster.

Why do you think we won't be motivated to play?
