I'll be honest I didn't click the link but I doubt he's a 2018 men's basketball target. We don't have any scholarships open as it is and if one frees up it will go to Tyler Harris.

Since you didn't read the article you missed the part where we offered him a scholarship then.

He's only a junior so would be a 2019 target.

It would be nice to have a local Big 12 level recruit. Hopefully he develops a lot despite the competition and we sign him.

Agreed, I was thinking while I was watching this, why didnt they enroll him at Hoover or North, he could have gotten alot more exposure against better competition.
Because those schools would be horrible for him academically, considering her moved to the U.S. three years ago and has only been speaking English since then.

Are you saying and North are bad school academically, or that they couldn't handle someone who is not a native english speaker? I can tell you from experience that Hoover has a very high percentage of ELL students.

I could see them wanting to have him in a smaller school environment to help his transition though.
