So how does gameday work for basketball? Do you need a ticket to the game to attend gameday, or will they let anyone in to Hilton for the gameday portion in the morning?

I feel like they will let a certain amount of people in. They will probably release more details soon.

I find it funny that the article posted an example tweet from our own Brent Blum as one of the example people who were 'upset'.

You have no idea how furious I am, guys.

There's obviously that seating chart that they released, but I have to imagine that if enough people showed up, they'd continue filling more sections. Seems to me that there would be no reason to stop admitting people past that point. I have no idea how many people will show up, but 14,000 sounds nice.

Interesting how they have it open to the general public. They should make lower level for ISU students to fill up first, and have the rest of the general public fill in from there. I don't think I've ever seen a Gameday crowd on TV with a bunch of adults and high schoolers in the crowd.

This. I wonder if there is a limit to the amount of people that they allow in. I think if there is no limit there could easily be around 8,000.

Rulzzz, you could be right on that #, I was amazed at the turn out for Hilton Madness (preseason showcase). Something like this I could see people making a day of it especially if the AD makes it easy for people to get in .

It's not a lot of people. Just a few tweets. But that game wasn't even an option because the gametime for that was fixed and ours wasn't until now.

Wow...the butthurt is strong with that one....

I mean, I'd expect that level of whining from some posters on here, but then they'd get made fun of, but of a quasi-professional sportswriter? Makes me realize how spoiled we are with CW and the whole CF team.

Someone needs to make Giant Dancing Fred, so his arms can move at the elbows and shoulders and legs at hips and knees. Put him in the commercial getup and.....

Louisville has won a national title, been to two Final Fours and won more games than any other program in the country since the Yum Center first opened its doors, and GameDay has still never made an appearance at the arena. At this point, it be hard to blame Louisville fans for not showing up if and when that day finally comes.

Wow, the entitlement.

they forgot to point out that they've been on Gameday like 8 times. Just not in the new arena.

There's no way they stop letting people in and tell them to go back to their cars

And Louisville/Duke is not an established rivalry

Neither is Iowa State-Kansas.

KU is an absolute blueblood, with four Final Fours and a national title since the last time we made the Elite Eight, and Self is 8-2 against Hoiberg, or 7-2 if you don't count the screwjob in '13.

It could be a rivalry but it definitely isn't at the moment. ISU needs to beat KU more consistently and win the Big 12 at least once (compared to KU's 10 in a row) in order to even start using the word as a "maybe."

And Louisville/Duke is not an established rivalry

Let's go with ISU vs KU is an established series that has had controversial moments the last few years. Louisville vs Duke isn't a rivalry and have played each other around 10 times in their history.
