Jaylin had wheels and his burst was the most impressive aspect, but I don't think he has the speed of Eskildsen or Overby (6'5"). I think his speed is comparable to Karon Brookins (6'5")

He showed signs in 2021 that he had the ability to extend the defense and had similar in the return game.
Where that was in 100m or vs. teammates in a 40, not sure.
Yeah. He ran a 4.39 at the combine. What receivers in school history were faster than him? Can't be more than 1-2, if that. I doubt any receiver on next year's roster is actually faster than Noel.
There are probably two, maybe three that are faster. Eskildsen and Overby for sure. Brookins, maybe.
That would be awesome, but I'm not buying it. Noel was 10th in the 40 for WR at the combine. No way we have 3 guys currently on the roster that would have been top 10. There is a 0% chance.
Townsend’s highlights at UCF look like a guy with elite burst but not top end speed. I’ll take burst every day over top speed but I will be slightly concerned if he’s taking the top off our defense consistently in practice.
