Spinoff: What do you like about getting older?

High school chicks.... I get older, they stay the same age.

daughters.... thats pretty much it. Food for thought... Sit around some high school boys sometime, and you will think to yourself... I cannot of been that stupid.

I agree with many of the things listed here - financial resources, my own stuff, personal relationships, self esteem, etc.

And, I'm not on the bottom of the ladder at work anymore. I really enjoy not just doing what I'm told to do, but having a decision-making role and mentoring the young'uns as they learn the ropes.

I like saying things like: You are only old when you spend more time in your memories than making them.

I have some gray hair. As such, young kids working various cash registers sometimes give me the senior citizens discount even though I am nowhere near eligible. And I don't care...
