How do you envision how the rotation works this year? I think the biggest question is at SG with Heise and Nelson. My guess:
PG - Lipsey
SG - Nelson
SF - Milan
PF - Jefferson
C - Buchanon

Plenty of minutes off the bench
Heise
Batemon
Toure
Mulder

I'm bullish on the future of Pleta, but I think his minutes are limited this year. I don't see us going past 9 deep much.

I've been wondering if Tamin, Milan, and Josh crack 100 combined minutes a game.
I think they're easily over 90.

I'll be shocked if Pleta isn't a contributor. Not saying 30 minutes a game, but half that.

The question is will he be more of a 3rd/ emergency big or will he spell Joshua at the 4? Perhaps a bit of both. But in either case, he will be be rarely if not sparingly used this season i would imagine, unless he's one of the top 3 bigs on the roster between Joshua, Mulder, Buchanan and himself.

It was a little eye opening hearing Pleta talking about adjusting to the physicality. I think he will look like a freshman quite a bit of the time. But man is he a skilled big and when he acclimates… watch out.

I think Pleta is in the rotation this year. How much he plays will depend on how much they go small and play Jefferson at the 5. He was very impressive in his interview and had a good understanding of areas where he must improve. He is very athletic for his size and that will help him on defense.

I view mulder as more of an edozie guy. Obv better than him but just saying I’d think pleta beats him out.

You don't expect Toure to get his feet wet behind Tamin a little bit? If he doesn't it will be baptism by fire in 2026-27 for whoever the PG succeeding Tamin ends up being.

Anything is possible. Not everyone can play though. I'm assuming we'll be signing a couple of transfer PG's after this season.

T.J. only runs an 8 man rotation. He’s stated it multiple times over the years. 8 guys will play regularly. The other guys will be emergency/garbage time guys. Only one freshman will see significant time.

Agree. He's 23, strong/athletic, and can score. He also has experience playing against tougher competition than freshmen coming in from high school. Can't compare him to typical freshmen.

He's 20, 21 by the first game. His competition wasn't much tougher than the high level AAU circuit most recruits play on.

Tougher competition maybe, maybe not, but he was playing against some grown men with a lot of experience
No arguments there. I just think it will be pretty similar compared to the Freshman guards transition. If comparing to Freshman bigs I'd 100% say he's likely more ready.
