Brend deserves the same level of criticism as Duke because neither of them picked a turkey leg.

What are the most iconic images from the fair? The Big Boar and people walking around with turkey legs!
Having to fight around the ligament strands in the turkey leg make them not worth it for me.

They Gyro stand between Riley Stage and the ag building doesn't get enough love.

There is a nondescript burger place between Riley Stage and the varied industries building that is good if you are on a tight budget.

Bucket of cookies should be no lower than #2 on any list

The bucket of cookies is good if you’re sticking to just the grounds but I’ve come to realize Casey’s cup or tub of cookies are much better and cheaper.

Whatever happened to all the rootbeer stands? Back in the day if you didn't get a bee in your rootbeer, you weren't at the right rootbeer stand.

We used to go to the Steele County Fair in Owatonna, MN every single year growing up. I can't count how many of those mini gallon looking jugs of root beer I pounded every year while the adults hung out in the beer garden for hours and hours a day. It was right next to the Tom Thumb Donut stand which was also incredible.

I think I’ve seen way more pics of people eating corn dogs at the fair than turkey legs. It’s the only place I ever eat them and would say they’re the #1 food I’d associate with the fair.
