There is a big difference in freshness between Chipotle and Taco Bell/John's. The later uses pretty much all frozen, pre-cooked ingredients that are microwaved.
Chipotle obviously isn't making everything from scratch, but it's significantly more fresh than TB/TJ
Thanks for the clarification about the dog/urination thing. And, yes, Taco Johns is a hot steamy pile of garbage wrapped in a tortilla but it has Potato Ole's. That makes the difference. As far as I can tell, Taco Bell is a hot steamy pile of garbage wrapped in a tortilla without Potato Ole's. If given these two choices, I will take choice one every time.
Disclaimer #1 - I like hot steamy piles of garbage in tortillas.
Disclaimer #2 - Beer at Taco Bell could be a game-changer.

In fairness to you, I suppose that this is exactly the type of comment that you are referring to and you do have a point. I think the stress of Hoiberg leaving and then the realization that, ultimately, it's not all that important in the grand scheme of life, left people (such as myself) feeling that these witty(?) and irreverent posts were a good and safe outlet for our somewhat silly and irrational stress.
I'm sure that this site will go back to being relatively sane shortly... or at least until football season.

Agree on liking the hire even more. And, yes, our AD does need to look for the type of guy that would embrace a small college town like Ames. Hope fans give him the best welcome and support. Imagine coming to a new job at a totally unfamiliar location and people you're about to work with that you have no connection to. Throw on huge expectations and having to hire a staff with difficult circumstances. Lets get behind this guy and show him what the great people in the state of Iowa and cyclonenation are all about!!
