I have a friend that is really good friends with Stinnett. Let's just say I heard some stories about him that made me glad he didn't make it to Iowa State. Let's just say those who didn't support Kennard Banks wouldn't have been a big fan of P'Allen.

You all know this would have been Mac's fault if he came to Iowa State...:jimlad:

Stinnet is obviously having buyer's remorse at Creighton. Creighton is doing horribly this season, and Stinnet is hating every minute of it.

I wonder if he'd be such a problem if he were here. If he were playing for us, he'd be happier, I think, because we'd be doing better.

'sarah' Pallen stinnett isnt an Altman type guy and I'm surprised now that they ever thought it would work.

Maybe Morgan would have related better to P Allen and he would have been fine here, who knows. On a related note I see former ISU commit Laurence Westbrook scored 18 with 6 assists last night as Minnesota beat Northwestern. He also hit two free throws with 5 seconds left to ice the game. He's averaging about 14 and is an excellent free throw shooter. Wish Mac could have talked him into keeping his committment. DeGand is a nice guard for NC State too.

Way up there
Was Stinnet a Morgan recruit who switched to Creighton after the change?

Which says a lot. I live pretty close to Omaha and attend many Creighton games, and this guy hasn't/will never live up to the hype he had coming out of high school. He's pretty talented physically but just doesn't have that "it" factor, I really think he lacks mental toughness and doesn't have much of a basketball IQ.

Other than the fact that at this point I'm pretty glad he chose Creighton over ISU, I guess I just really don't care - he's the 'Jay's problem, not mine.

He's a jerk. I know some people close to the program and this is no surprise to me.

This might be the best defense for ever Mac ever. And I mean ever. If heaven forbid JP brings Mac into his office to fire him, this is what Mac needs to bring up- P'Allen Stinnett.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when that happens. I bet JP would have the deer in headlights look. And I tell you what, no way will JP be able to fire Mac after that.
