All the straws are clogged with political BS and garbage, therefore I can't get any information through them.

Can we throw away all the current straws and get new ones that actually work?

The more I read about Duncan Hunter, the more I like. Although he has a snowball's chance in hell of winning anything. Come caucus time, I will vote for whoever I agree the most with and whose ideas I like the most.

Come general election time, I will vote for the lesser of 2 evils (because there is almost no chance a "career politician" does not get each nomination) most likely unless there is a legitimate 3rd party I like.

I voted Fred Thompson because of his fiscal responsibility stance and he is not a career politician.

what's really crazy is how much $$ the top candidates are going to raise and spend between now and november 2008, all just to sling their BS around the media outlets of the country....

good luck to whoever inherits iraq, the war on terror, energy problems, healthcare, china, the environment, illegal immigration, and the country being as divided as ever.... I'm sure I left out some other pressing issues and will be raked over the coals for this one...

...sounds like a great opportunity for someone, so long as they're actually willing to step up to the plate and be a leader.

Really the most dire situations are the best for being remembered for doing great things.

Why is it so hip to make polls private around here? Half the fun is to see who all you idiots vote for. Damn near every poll at CF is private. :frown3qg:

As far as I'm concerned, Brownback, Huckabee, and Hunter are fairly interchangeable and I would proudly vote for any of them for President. Something tells me, however, that I won't have that option.

It is interesting how Hillary is viewed by the national media as the next president, but yet she can't even make the top five in our little unscientific poll. Is her candidacy really as strong as we are being led to believe?

Yes and no. I think she's the still the strongest Democrat which makes her the favorite to win at this point but I don't buy that it is inevitable that she will even be nominated. Also a message board focused on athletics of a Midwestern college obviously isn't a very representative sample.

Just like the media you left off the best person for the job but you put in Al freaking Gore and Tommy Thompson? What a joke.

Ron Paul.
