FYI, there is Tuesday “Cyclone Insider” between 6 and 7 p.m. on KXNO that probably eliminates most Iowa talk.

I like what you guys do. Keep up the good work. It'd be stupid for talk to turn to Iowa or ISU and just have one of you guys clam up because "that ain't my team." You can't afford to ignore what's happening with either program if you're going to sit there and fill two hours of radio every night.

When I used to listen, I thought Ross P did a good job of ignoring and knowing very little about one program.

This was my first thought yesterday when I saw this thread.
Also people need to stop b:tching about the time spent on each school. Life isn't fair get over it. You may also realize that Ross is really really good at radio and I'd argue better than CW.

The only thing I would trust Travis Justice to be a qualified analyst for is how to avoid a sexual harassment lawsuit.

The two greatest pieces of audio Des Moines sports radio has ever produced:

1.) Marty F bombing the Cot Man on air

2.) JW absolutely clowning Giggles on air after the Hoiberg hire.

I don't know John as I've only spoken with him once and the extent of our conversation was pretty much "sup" but it seems like you have to be a fairly massive douche bag to get John to give that response Giggles got from him.

If you ever read his tweets during a game, you would think he should be a coach with all of his great knowledge of what is happening on the court and the bench. I’m amazed he can see all of that and tweet at the same time.

There's a reason Walters, Heft, Blum, and Halstead can talk about only sports. THEY DON'T DO 15 HOURS OF RADIO A WEEK!

If Ross and Williams talked solely about that weeks basketball games for Iowa and Iowa State, they would have about 8 hours max of content. 2 hours for the previous game, two hours for the next one, for each team.

Point me to ONE daily sports radio show that talks about nothing but sports. I'll hang up and listen.

Do you actually like the Ken Miller show? Just curious.

The only time I listen to Ken Miller is if there are commercials on every other radio station. Most of the time he's talking about "Lost Wages" and his gambling habits. Other times it's dedicated hawk talk.

I don't think I've listened long enough to confirm if all he talks about is sports. I've rarely been entertained by that show personally.
