Yeah, I was not disappointed Swati got voted out after they all discovered she told them each and every one that they were "her number 1."

That said, Tori comes across as very unlikable as well.

I could see them voting out Rocksroy instead. He was the only one to vote Tori in the last episode, showing he is not together with the other two. He's also pretty annoying if you ask me.
You may have a point there. I find him annoying also...and he is now on the outs as the only one left that didn't vote with the group. I think the merge is a ways off though, and he probably contributes more strength than Tori. OTOH, dumb tribes vote out strength way before they should, as Cyd mentioned.

And I also agree that the players are smarter and more likeable in general than last season. I was ready to strangle Shan when she kept doing that stupid humming thing.

LOL! Yeah she is probably one the least likable contestants in recent memory. Colton by far is my least favorite of all time and it is not even a close 2nd followed by coach, Brandon Hantz, Phillip (his man panties were just gross too!) and Dan with his creepy touching that eventually got him removed from that season. I know many can't stand Russell Hantz too but I actually thought he was a pretty good villain and did a great job getting his way to the top 3 twice but ultimately he just has a scorched earth game that no one respected in the end.

So we finally got caught up on this season. We turned it on when the first episode aired and they said they would continue the twists they added in 41 so we didn't want to be in the dark on those.

I actually thought 41 was fine. The social agenda stuff was a bit much but I actually liked the season - it was basically all villains except Xander who I thought was going to Fabio his way to the victory.

This season is fine so far - not sure what to think about it. Daniel just a huge dummy - when it was tied, and clearly everybody voted against Jenny, he needed to flip his vote to her on the revote so that they didn't end up in that situation and he didn't have to out himself. It would have been fine if he did that.

Regarding these weird idols - I'd just hold it, not tell anybody, and pray to goodness my alliance could take me to the merge where it's just automatically activated.

I'm hopelessly addicted to the show even though my wife and I are pretty annoyed with how PC and "woke" the show has become. We like a good competition and seeing how they survive without being preached to. That said, I am always skeptical of hollywood and wonder if they didn't bring Jackson on just so he could say he originally applied as a female and this time as a male. Can't believe they didn't know about the lithium thing until then. Also, noticed that Rocksory had a tear in the back of his shirt and then a few scenes later I see him with the same shirt and no tear. Obvious they try and manipulate us into thinking what they want us to. I'm about ready to check out but will at least finish this season. Daniel seems like a dufus. They keep saying he's a lawyer and is so smart but his title is law clerk which I'm sure you have to have some brains to do. Jonathon is likeable and is probably too strong to last much after the merge. I think Chanelle has what it takes to go to the end but you never know with this show. There isn't really anybody that really annoys me. Maryanne did at first but I'm starting to find her more likeable.

This is how I felt after last season. The season 40 all winners cast was one of the best seasons ever then they followed it up with a complete dud and got way too woke with social justice agendas that had nothing to do with the game itself really. If this season were to follow that same path as last year I would lose interest but so far it has been much better than last season I think. A lot less stupid cast and players that are making decent moves so far at this stage of the game.

I wish Probst would go back and watch the first 10 or 20 seasons over again and start pulling in some of the things that made the show great early on. We haven't seen a good eating challenge in quite awhile and I think it is time they move away from Fiji and shoot at some other locations again. Apparently there was a big storm overnight before the immunity challenge but we never saw a second of it and only heard about it when they mentioned it before the challenge. There used to be all kinds of good stuff like people breaking down emotionally because they are cold and wet or some kind of drama because so and so is cuddling together at night, etc. Would like to see more time focusing on the actual survival stuff they do between challenges once in awhile as there surely has to be some good moments in there somewhere.

I’m in the same boat with her and now I think she is my dark horse it win it all if she makes it to the merge. She is not really a challenge threat and her high energy will annoy the people of the other tribes and seem unlikable at first so no reason to vote her out. Similarly, she will gradually become more likable the longer she is around, maybe steal an immunity challenge victory near the end, then BOOM, she’s the winner.

With a season of the challenge moving to network TV. I assume they will take out a lot of the MTV type drama with the sex and fights and so on to make it more family friendly yet keep the edge. If that happens it will dominate Survivor. The challenges in the challenge are far superior to Survivors “collect puzzle pieces and make a puzzle “ every single challenge. It’s almost shocking they have not changed the, everything just being a puzzle at the end formula on survivor. Mixed with the woke crap, the Challenge is going to be a better show in the future if they keep doing what they both do.

If that's that crazy-ass video of the Nebby game, I like watching it with the Benny Hill soundtrack. :D

That is also a great video but I think they skip Walters in that one!

That’s actually the full 2009 season that made football fun again.

Very satisfied with the result tonight.
Agreed, but I'm very curious what the girl's reasoning was for voting for Mike. I have no idea why she did that and they didn't explain it.

Jonathon is absolutely killing it in challenges. I actually really like his personality and everything too, but he's going to go into the merge with a massive target on his back.

Agree, we had no idea where that came from. Would've avoided the re-vote altogether if she'd just voted for Daniel.

I could see Jonathon winning every single immunity challenge post-merge. He's that good.
