I watched video on demand through YouTube TV for the part during the weather report. Having to sit through commercials sucked. It will be interested to see when it comes out that Sol sent the advantage.

I lost the whole last part of the show right after he found some sort of advantage and it came back on right when she was doing her exit interview. Ugh. I missed a ton. Anyone know what his advantage was?
Watched it on Paramount+ tonight. For those wondering here's what happened.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Sol found the advantage. It was for this tribal. He had to gift it to someone who was on the losing team and they had the choice to use it as either a "block a vote" or "safety without power" advantage.

Cut to losing team afternoon and a very predictable montage of different members of the blue team telling Rachel they want to work with her and she should vote person "X" out. All trying to get her to not play shot in the dark. Unsurprisingly Tiyanna was suggesting Gabe and Gabe was suggesting Tiyanna.

Cut to tribal and another drawn out uninteresting conversation about the blue teams options to stick together or split apart and work with Rachel. Jeff says "It is time to vote." Now things finally get interesting. Rachel stops him and reveals she found an advantage in her bag 20 minutes before going to tribal. She uses safety without power, takes her torch, and heads back to camp.

Everyone from the winning team is baffled and looking around trying to figure out who sent it. Sol does a good job of looking oblivious to where it came from.
Tribal gradually transitions to a live tribal as they realize they now have to cannibalize themselves. Everything winds down and comes to the vote. Tiyanna votes Gabe while the rest of the tribe votes Tiyanna as Gabe was able to convince them they couldn't control/trust Tiyanna. She is nearly as surprised and disappointed as Anika was.

Wow sounds like a crazy tribal. BTW Why does bad weather always happen on Wednesdays around 7. I swear every year we have the same issue. Also, Not complaining about them breakin in to the show for severe weather. They have to do that. Just saying can't bad weather come around 5:00. Thanks for the update

Yeah I always just wait till Thursday and watch on Paramount+ so I don't have to watch commercials and can watch on my time. I wonder if it could be streamed live or after on CBS's website or app instead of watching on channel 8. Probably not since they want you to buy P+. On there if I watch live it filters through my local region and plays kcci.

Had to watch the last part on Paramount+ as well. If you aren's subscribing to that already you are missing out on a lot of original shows like Tulsa King, Lioness, the Yellowstone prequels 1883 and 1923, and others that are well worth the subscription price.

Not shocked by the Tiyanna, she has been on shakey ground already I thought. Must have been Rachel going home the way the they all had to talk after she played the advantage and good for her to use it although Sol kind of looked weird when she only read the part about the safety without power as it also said she could steal a vote as another option. Guessing he at least tells Rachel at camp. They had a point that if they voted her out then they would come for the alliance of 5 so maybe this shakes up some of the alliances with them only 4 strong now.

One other random take away from the last episode. I'm a little torn about how they did the immunity challenge after a merge. The last person standing for the losing team was immune then they had an advantage gift get put in play too so basically all but 4 people were essentially safe from being voted out with half of the merged tribe not even having a vote either. I know they had no idea how the teams would wind up going into that scenario but almost felt a bit like there was a thumb on the scale to create some extra drama and steer the vote in a manner that would potentially get a player out that otherwise might have been safe if the whole tribe was at tribal and more players were not immune. I guess just win the challenge and it's not an issue but they are kind of at the point where it's individual immunity from here on out and they essentially made it a team immunity challenge. I'm fine with splitting up to teams for rewards because you can still go on a reward and get voted out.

Wow I thought last night was one of the better episodes, so many people that were trying to blindside each other that the plans would unravel since they end up telling the wrong people who they were going to blindside.

Last night was one of those nights that you just try to make it through that chaos and hope it's not you. Is Andy getting the winners edit or is he just an interesting character? I don't see anyone else getting a winners exit this season. Kyle is on a lot because he keeps winning, however, that is not really the winners edit they always do. Maybe Teeny?

Genevieve is really flying under the radar and I'm not sure how. She's built a resume now. I feel like they'll catch on but if not, I look forward to watching a corporate lawyer speak to the jury.

I agree.

My wife said once the tribe members catch on to her she is in trouble.

I certainly wouldn't be throwing names out if I was ever on the show.

That was a crazy tribal. I had no clue who was going home once all the side conversations started to happen. Rachel is another player like Genevieve that the longer you let those 2 stay in the game the more they are quietly building resumes. Rachel telling Sam about the vote may be one of the bigger moves of the episode that kind of started the chaos really. Those 2 really drove the vote this last episode I think.

I keep saying it, either Andy is much smarter than we give him credit for or he's just stupid lucky. Guess we will eventually find out. Sue still has an immunity idol and I think Rachel still has the one she found sewn into the tarp. If I recall Rachel said she played her shot in the dark to see what kind of reaction the tribe had when she played it and if she still felt uncomfortable after that she would use the idol so just 2 idols and no advantages currently amongst the players left right now if I am up to date on all that.

Just watched last night's episode. Should of titled it "He wrote my name down!"

Sue is psychotic.

I was happy with either option they went. Funny tribal with the rain.

Yeah she is starting to annoy me with her horrible age lie and now getting stuck because a guy wrote your name down. Now what is she going to do since a crap load wrote her name down

I still am fine with Sue as I like to see the older contestants hang with those that are young enough to be their kids, but that was the lamest reason to lobby for voting for Kyle. She's still sitting on an idol some don't know about so if she is smart with it she can save her own ass one of these votes or use it to pull off a blindside on someone else. She's done pretty well in challenges for being 35 years older than the youngest which is Teeny and Sam.

I was fine with the vote but would have rather seen Genevieve go as I think she's starting to build a pretty good resume and may be the biggest threat at the moment. Kyle is winning challenges but I think he's lacking a bit in the social game unless the edits are not showing it. Gabe was playing a better social game than Kyle. You never know what the jury is going to value but lately seems like if you lack a good social game it doesn't matter how you did in challenges and navigating the votes there is usually enough on the jury that will use the "I don't feel like we ever connected" reason to not vote for someone. Winning challenges when there is a target on your back seems to carry much less weight with recent seasons juries than if whoever makes it to the end is sort of your best friend at camp. The only way you win Survivor lately is if the other 2 people you bring with you have less friends on the jury than you do as the social game seems to be much more heavily weighted in the final vote than challenges and gameplay it feels.

Well not shocked to see Kyle voted out as soon as he didn't win immunity. I do think those who are left are overestimating his level of a threat as he's mostly just a challenge threat. His social game is almost non-existent and he doesn't really play strategy much either and that has become more obvious to me over the last few weeks that he's not playing a very good complete game. He knew his name was on the chopping block this vote and he didn't try anything to save himself really which should have been a sign to the rest that maybe he's not the big threat they think he is. When was the last time someone that was mostly a challenge threat wind up winning? Ever since season 40 MAYBE you can say that Gabler was a challenge threat who won but he also played a good social game too. IMO the last winner who won mostly because he dominated the challenges and did just enough with social and strategy was Ben Driebergen in season 35. If you look at the last 6 winners I would say at least 5 of them won mostly for their social game. Just last season I thought Charlie played the best overall game but the jury gave it to Kenzie because they liked her more from a social aspect and thought she had a better story outside of the game to use the money. Maryanne in season 42 definitely was a social game winner too, she didn't win 1 challenge and was brought to the final 3 by Romeo.

Genevieve is the biggest snake in the grass right now and would have been the better vote this time. Maybe she goes next but I can see them picking off Sam next which then leaves Andy the last man standing and with 5 females left in the game the idea of an all female final 4 then comes into play.

Now that Kyle is out I kind of am leaning towards Rachel as my favorite left out of the bunch. Teeny and Caroline are pretty sharp thinkers too. Sue and Rachel both still have idols left to play and Rachel also has a block a vote advantage too. Everyone giving up their shot in the dark for rice sure put a twist into things because I could see Kyle possibly playing his this past vote if he still had it. I agree Andy seems to be getting the winners edit at the moment but I'm not sold yet that he makes it to the end. He's either playing a really good game or has just been stupid lucky up to this point. If he can orchestrate a vote or 2 of his own then maybe I finally respect his game but right now he seems to play just enough in the middle to navigate votes and keep the target off him.

Regarding Sue - She is performing very well against the younger team mates, but her edit definitely is NOT flattering. She also has a nervous tic of pursing her lips constantly, which, with the weight loss accentuating her "enhanced" lips, makes it look like constant duckfaces. I find it very hard to watch her talk.

However long ago they left in a soundbyte of Sam noting that his expired idol could now be used as a fake idol. I've been hoping that pays off, and it could be a great hail mary for his position in the game if he pulled it off right.

Sue and Andy seem to think they're cleverer than I think they are, but with each passing week they're still alive and I'm less confident they're weak players.

Pulling for Rachel now, which I recognize is kind of lame since she's sitting on multiple advantages but with Sol and Kyle gone I'm now a frontrunner.
