We just had a birthday party for my mother, so we have a lot of left over pulled pork plus brats and maybe some bacon wrapped shrimp (always a favorite). I cannot wait for the chillier weather! Few things better then chili (made from home raised pork) and coco with some nice peppermint schnapps (best is Peramfrost, nothing warms up up like 100 proof schnapps!)

silly me. My first scan of your post read "beer brats with a sizzling side of panther lather on..."

After a few seconds of consideration, I decided to re-read your post, and of course it made more sense.

That's why you are a mod here, because you don't:

Which meal on Saturday are you wondering about? The earlier in the day, mid-afternoon or post-game?

With all the games going on I don't have time to grill much, probably just do some bacon cheddar brats. Those, & plenty of ice cold natty light!

And here all this time I thought it was because I was a gutsy daredevil with a give-em-hell attitude and a fourth-grade education.

I actually heard that you did some unspeakable favors for Chris Williams, but I thought I would be nice.

No no, it's time it got out in the open. It's true. I did do an "unspeakable favor" for Chris. It's not something I'm proud of, and certainly not something I've done since, but when his partner in the synchronized mime contest went down with that hip injury, how was I supposed to say no? I could tell how much it meant to him. So yeah, that was the "unspeakable favor."

Feels good to come clean.

I support all-day grazing at our tailgates. We shouldn't feel the need to be restricted by society's set meal times on football Saturdays.

Which is why I included no times. But, you have to start sometime with something, thus the "earlier" mention. Occasionally I'd like a hammock in our area for the between times. I usually settle for another beverage.

Tailgate hammocks would be brilliant.

Chili is always a good choice, but maybe not when it's so hot outside.
