Could have transferred to the ToE and been their best guard. Still would have had to share minutes behind the coaches son though. :p

I don't see him getting a lot of time on the court as long as things are going well and guys are still defending well. His size might come into play against TT or he might help a lot against WVU. Prohm doesn't like to play guys just to play guys. Heck even the most heralded player on the team only got 17 minutes in a win over number 5. Him not playing has nothing to do with being in the dog house IMHO.

I'd be ok with someone, or collectively a group of players, getting 5-10 of Babb's minutes. At least for the next 8-10 games, so he's as healthy as possible for the final stretch.

Don't see that happening, he's too valuable to running the team and as a stabilizer. His minutes are already down from last season from 36/game to 32.5/game due to increased depth.

Prohm just really narrows the rotation down in conference play. He has every year. I think he could play the bench guys more this year because of the talent but he still seems to want to stick to limited number of guys. Heck he was reluctant to play Wigginton against KU.

His minutes are down because they've only played 2 big 12 games so far. He's played 37 & 38 minutes in those 2 games.

Hopefully he's just more healthy this season, and it's not an issue.

Does the lack of playing time for guys like Talley, Young and maybe even Wigginton losing his starting job because of injury come back to effect the team chemistry wise at some point?

I have no inside knowledge but I wonder if Lindell was supposed to go in later in the game and since we went up by so much we decided to keep him off the floor for rest. Plus the other guys were killing it.

He arguably should be getting some of THT’s minutes, but we’ll see.

Other than his shooting, THT is playing well. He's a better passer and ball handler than Talley and has been playing really good defense. Even with his poor recent shooting, he's still more of an offensive threat than Talley.

Game situations are going to dictate a lot of playing time for these guys. There is nothing wrong with that and they are going to have to accept their role.

Yes, Prohm eseentislly said so, I think in the presser. Plus the way the game was going with TV timeouts effected timing obviously.
