Dang Ta'Shawn not getting much love here. I've got ya Ta' Welcome to the jungle and god bless you for choosing to be a Cyclone. You will love it here.
Everybody is preoccupied thinking they are going to change the world by belittling each other in the Supreme Court thread.

Looks like a solid add to me. CMC and staff know what they are looking for and it appears to me are getting commits much earlier in the cycle each year. Having been here long enough, these kids know that they can trust what they are being told. In the age of NIL, I like that we are comfortable swimming in the 3-star pool.

Looks like the staff is going after a lot of track guys. Maybe thinking our team lacked speed the last few years

Closing speed (or lack thereof) seemed to be on full display last year when ISU got spread out like Tech and WV.

I think the blitzing from everywhere approach that worked so well was shown to have limits and maybe there's a priority to have that speed to at least be able to not let an explosive play get too big

I just think it's a good philosophy overall. Baylor has been doing this for years.

They aren’t going after any more or fewer track guys. They simply are having more success than they used to recruiting football players who happen to be track guys.

Like how Jamison Patton wasn’t a track guy—then went out and high jumped 6’6” this Spring.

They’re having more success recruiting better athletes overall.

Not sure I would call someone a "track guy" just because they ran track (if that implies high end speed.) Plenty of athletes run track to try to stay in shape or get faster. Tashawn seems like a good athlete that hits hard and has a nose for the ball. We will see if speed is a big part of his game. Hudl has his 100 a lot faster than 247, which is good to see. https://www.hudl.com/profile/11906998/Tashawn-James/about
