I figured we'd be in the 6 day window. Could be wrong though...

May want to see the results after this upcoming week to decide.
7-0 TCU vs. 5-2 ISU @ home--- I'd hope for a night game. ABC 7 o'clock! ;)

FWIW-- Penn St/Ohio St is on Fox I believe.

EDIT: Just noticed above about Penn St/Ohio St.

Penn State and Ohio State being on Fox means nothing for Gameday. Gameday went to WVU at TCU this year and that game was on FS1. But as others said, Columbus already hosted and Penn State hosts this weekend so that game may be off the table anyways. There shouldn't be any more wild card Gamedays for the rest of the year since Gameday already went to NYC and to FCS James Madison.

I wasn't calling for Gameday.

Gameday can go to one location and another location can be the ABC 7 PM game.

October 28th is the pheasant hunting opener in Iowa. I'm hoping for a late kickoff so that I can hunt, tailgate, and go to the game!!
Same, I also have an obligation that day and we're due for a night game. Plus a night game plus homecoming/Halloween weekend against a Top 25 team would be electric.

Are you trying to say that game in 2013 would still be bigger? No way. We were 1-2 going into that and Texas was just as bad.

I meant 2011. So I really ****** that up. And 2011 wouldn't be bigger but it's the last time I remember ISU fans being hopeful early in the season. If we win against TTU, TCU is all of a sudden a game that isn't just about beating a top 5 or top 10 team. That's a game that is a legitimate step toward the getting to the conference championship. It's really hard to fathom right now, but if we win the next 2, that's the path we're on.

If Notre Dame beats USC this weekend, NC State @ ND is prime for Gameday. Every ND home game is on NBC so Gameday can't wait for an ESPN/ABC game to go to South Bend. And their remaining home games are Wake Forest and Navy so they won't wait until later. A Top 20 upstart 6-1 opponent is perfect. So I won't get my hopes up even if we do beat Tech.
Looking ahead to the rest of the season, NCST hosts Clemson week 10, and Notre Dame plays @ #8 Miami week 11, so they could hold off and do a game with only the winner of week 9's matchup. But yeah, if Notre Dame beats USC this week and gameday doesn't care about it not being an ESPN/ABC game then South Bend will probably host. Unfortunately NCST is on a bye, so we can't root against them this week.
