48-17 in the 3rd quarter. Is TCU that good or was OU over rated?

It's the Big 12's fault.

OU hasn't been able to recruit since they're in a lesser league and the team isn't motivated. They don't care about the Big 12 and are looking ahead to the SEC.

And they can’t claim it’s due to injuries when your D gives up a 50 burger to TCU. They bad.

They’re wildly overrated if that’s all Venables can get out of the defense

Bad defense has been OU's hallmark almost as much as their offense over the last decade +.

Them being the bellweather of the conference with such trash defense has been a bad look.

Most teams have a down year with a new coach. Even blue bloods.
The other thing that happens is that year 1 looks similar for the top programs due to the amount of talent in the program. Remember Helfrich at Oregon?
By year 2 the cracks in the foundation are showing. OU is in a little different boat where a lot of talent left the program with the coach.

There’s a reason ou took awhile in settling for venables, I don’t think he’s their coach when they play their first sec conference game
